Eighteen Pounds

Can you tell I've lost eighteen pounds since January?  My blood sugar is doing great and my clothes are not fitting quite right.  I am delighted.

Lane Bryant skirt, size 18, which is hanging off my hips.  Blue Avenue tank which now doesn't cover my girls like it used to.  And my purple wrap top which still fits ok because it was kind of small on me to begin with.

It was a beautiful day in Central Florida today.  It was about 62 degrees when my son took this picture, and it's close to 70 now.  Perfection.

These roots?  Horrible.  I have a box of dye and I plan to correct this situation tonight.  I'm also done with red.  I'm sorry, I just identify as being a brunette and don't feel like myself.  I can do streaks, but not all over red again.

So, I had said I was going to start doing Etsy reviews, and today is my first one.  I know, I missed January and February due to my son's surgery, and then my stepdad's heart attack.

How cute is this?!!?  I call this my Ursula necklace.  I just love anything ocean oriented and when I was trolling etsy.com during a long hold session at work.  Including shipping, it cost about $25. So if you're interested in really interesting, eclectic jewelry, check out this person's shop in Etsy:  https://www.etsy.com/shop/IzzySkully

And, let's not forget what is truly important.  The Word:

Psalm 27:4

New International Version (NIV)
One thing I ask from the Lord,
    this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.

You're looking good! And I like your pretty outfit. Hope things are going better for you and your family. How is your stepdad?

He is already released from the hospital! I couldn't believe how quickly he came home. He had a stent put in to keep his clogged artery open and has many doctor appointments ahead of him. He will be out of work for at least another week and is doing his favorite job right now: driving my mother insane. Thank you so much for the prayers!
