Well. Today is the Superbowl, and since my Giants aren't playing this year, I decided to go Team Broncos, and wore navy and orange in my wholehearted support. I love the Superbowl. I really like football and food, so this is a no brainer, peeps.

My smart son said, "Mom, you should hold a football today for a prop". Then he proceeded to throw it at me and take a picture. |
No Heismann in my future, for sure. |
My $12.99 navy Ross dress, navy flats that I think I bought from Payless, but can't remember. Orange tank from Walmart, orange flower barrette worn as a brooch today. Football courtesy of a teenage son who likes to throw it way over my head since it's sooooo funny that he's quite a bit taller than me. |
Har har. Yes, you are taller than me. I get it.
Then I went to church, and proceeded to get spit up on by my friend's baby. I don't mind. They're only little for so long, and the next thing you know, they're demanding a car and designer jeans. |

I love this little girl. SO MUCH.
Now we're getting ready for a Superbowl party at our church. My husband is home, and very well known for his deviled eggs. My house? Well, it basically smells like a huge fart right now. I don't even like deviled eggs, but I'm clearly in the minority. So he's been a busy man the past day, making SEVEN DOZEN EGGS.

His hair is longer than mine. |
Can you imagine the stink in my house right now? |
Kitchen Aid mixers. They're not just for cakes! |
I have a feeling we will still run out of eggs. |
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— 1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV
Have a blessed day, people. And go Broncos. I am saying they are going to win by only one touchdown. Let's see if I'm right.
