High Winds and Bad Hair

Wow, what crazy weather we have today.  First of all, it's warm (80.)  But very overcast, and incredibly windy.  There's a tree down on my street.

I already texted my two neighbors, as this is directly in front of their house.  I may send the husband over to drag it off to the side so they can get out.  Oh yeah, he's home.  Yay!  I don't have to cook tonight.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress.  I bought it from Ross last month and it was under $20...might even be under $15 but I can't remember.  Considering I live in Florida, I don't own a ton of cotton dresses, but I'll be on the hunt for them  now.  This dress is great.  I'm not a huge fan of the sleeves but other than that, I am in love.  Great color (finally have some orange to add to my wardrobe for kids ministry), great pattern.  It even has a black gauzy slip sewed in so I didn't have to wear an extra one.  Oh, wearing my usual black Target flats and earrings I bought at church to support missions to Costa Rica.

It's a good thing I didn't bother to do my hair, because it is seriously windy out there.

I have got to start working out my arms.

Ooooh...scary tornado sky.  I'll have the weather channel on all day!

And just in case you didn't know, and needed proof...I'm a dork.

That dress is adorable! You could also pair it with a black (I think the border is black) Or a gray cardi when the weather isn't so hot. (think about those 2 days in Florida when the weather isn't so bad. LOL!)

Yes, the border is black. I initially found this dress looking for something new for Easter but didn't want black in it at all. So when I found this, I bought it anyway and then kept looking for my Easter dress (which you will all see next week!) And D'Rae, I did actually wear this with a black cardi to church as you never know if it will be freezing in there, or sweltering. This time, it was hot. That cardi came off! And thank you, Cheriz! That was the description I was looking for. :D
