On the Tail End of this Ride

Well peeps, my time is coming to graduate from Herzing University Online in April.  I can't believe it.  I remember when I was trying to decide if I should even go back to college, and now I'm about to finish.  Well, at least with my two year degree.  It was hard fought, believe me.  And while I know most people would roll their eyes at a two year degree, I pulled it off while working full time, parenting three kids on my own and keeping a household mostly together.  I'm proud of me.

Right now, I have no intention of finishing up and getting my bachelor's.  I'm not saying it's out of the question, but I need a break.  Funny thing is, right now, I'm not looking for another job.  I did apply for a coding job, but it was already filled.  I am being patient.  Being patient is so difficult for me.

I don't have much to say tonight.  I've been posting with pictures and have had hardly any comments.  I guess everyone is busy these days.

So.  Do YOU have any questions for me?  Any burning thoughts?  Complaints?  Suggestions?  Let me know!

Congratulations!! That took hard work and dedication!

It's busy here. Jordan is moving back home. Not exactly what I'd like, but he can't afford living on his own right now.

Doug and Isaac surprised me Saturday. Isaac was supposed to come home for a visit mid-December. Instead he came home Saturday and will be here 2 months :) I am SO excited he won't miss Thanksgiving after all.

So I finally get used to just one living at home, and they're all back (for 2 months anyway) and well, I don't do change, even good change, well, so it's been a crazy week.

And my fibro is awful right now.

But I've been reading and love the new dress in the next post. I just didn't comment.

Hi Kara, welcome. And yes, it didn't come easy to me. But anything worth having is worth working for, wouldn't you agree?
Kelly, I'm so happy you've got the family together, but sad to hear about your fibro acting up. Could it be the changing weather up there? I have a friend down here with fibro and she's miserable in the winter time. And we don't even have a real winter!

Thanks Bobbie. I haven't been feeling like a winner in the parenting department lately, so that made me smile. I really appreciate it.

Sarah, I am so proud of you too! Congratulations! Being a Mama while your Hubby's gone, working full-time, keeping your home AND being a student is lots of hard work & dedication! I watched my Hubby do it for 3 long years so I heartily commend you & I know what an accomplishment you've achieved! I love you friend! Maybe we can carve out a little bit of time to get together for coffee sometime soon!
