Sarah And The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Today was just a day when autism reared it's ugly head and both Bucket and I had it out with each other.  Sigh.  When will I learn that this is not something he'll grow out of, that behavior will generally be an issue, and that I have not reached saint territory yet?  He's in his room, I'm at the table, and we need to give each other a break.

Ginger called me this morning to remind me to wear orange.  All child care workers, orange.  Well, POOT.  Orange is not my favorite color.  I had two choices: rust and coral.  I chose rust, willing autumn to make a trip to Central Florida.  It didn't work.  I look autumnal, but really, I was just sweaty and hot, because it was 92 today.

Coldwater Creek rust top, size 2x, purchased on eBay I believe, definitely for under $10?  Plus my George Walmart dress, I believe $20, purchased in Charlotte NC back in 2009.  Target flats, purchased 2010 for $6.88.  Lane  Bryant jewelry set, under $20, probably 2006.

Nutmeg the photo bomber is right behind me.

Clearly, she is the star of this show.

The hair is ticking me off so bad, you don't even want to know.  People keep telling me how cute it is.  I suppose it's not AWFUL, but I'm not in love with it.  Just very fed up and unhappy with it.

Decided to wear actual make up today.  Again going with the autumnal rust theme today, I chose a coppery eyeshadow with a yellowish eyebrow color.  I liked it.  No one said anything, but I think that's a good thing?  I imagine if someone said "I like your eye make up" then you're probably wearing too much.  Especially at church.

Look, Nutmeg and I match.

I was going to wear blue until I got the "orange" phone call.  Oh well, it's still a dark autumnal color.  Missy said it was called "denim" and I think it's kind of cute.

Time to watch some football.

That color looks great on you, and that top is one of my favorite cuts.

It is fall here! High of 58 and the low tonight.....39. I'm still leaving some windows open, and we wake up freezing. It's nice to snuggle under all the comforters, blankets and quilts though :)

Next week it will be sunny and upper 60s and lower 70s. Fabulous! Come visit and enjoy my yummy weather.

I am so jealous! And I promise, Kelly...one of these days, when Mr. R is no longer on the road, or the kids have graduated...I will come up to visit! Pinky promise!

Actually this color looks really good on you! It is a better color to wear in cool weather, admittedly, but still... Lol.
