Short post tonight because I'm about to fall over. Today was my last day of jury duty; I looked awesome when I walked in and like 4 shades of holy hell by the time I left. My jury ended up convicting the defendant. I held up during the courtroom time, but cried in my car. I know that she was responsible for committing the crimes, and that *I* didn't send her to jail, but knowing that my name is on that conviction shook me to my core. I just want to sleep, not think, and do my job tomorrow to take my mind off all the horrible things I learned about humanity over the course of this past week.

I'm going to bed. I'm almost looking forward to a 12 hour day at work. At least I won't be in my car or learning about routing numbers and bank fraud. ~shudder~
