Last night, I couldn't fall asleep until 2am. Which NEVER happens to me. I am probably one of the best sleepers ever. I love my bed, my pillows, my blankets. But I couldn't stop thinking. Does that ever happen to you?
I thought about my upcoming speech for school, about my approach, about research, about power point presentations, about my hair, about why I wasn't sleeping. I dared not turn on the TV because I knew I'd be up. And as soon as I fell asleep, my fax went off at 4am, waking me up again. Then I fell asleep again around 5, and Missy woke me up at 5:30 by turning on the kitchen light. Sigh. I'm pooped.
I went back on Atkins again today. I missed it. I need some better snacks though. Research, research.
Anyway, you guys have all been pretty quiet this week. How are you doing? Anything interesting?

Yup this happens to me a lot! Lol. Especially when I've got a lot going on or have a big decision looming. I have found that it does help to turn off tv/music etc for the last few hours of the day and let my brain slowly wind down on it's own before I try to sleep.
No, I didn't know, and I've MISSED you! I'll run over there when I'm done working so I can peruse ya for a while!
I'm so sorry you had trouble sleeping! It doesn't happen to me often because, like you, I'm pretty much a marathon-sleeper! My Hubby has always teased that I could sleep standing up.....on a rock! Ha! I have found when I DO struggle with sleep it's usually because my mind is not stayed on God & I'm fretting in my heart! It's so much easier said than done, but I have to just ask God to help me in those moments! Those seasons of life make for some long, sleepy days! So sorry sweet friend! LOVE you!
