I won't be at my desk much today. Today is the baby shower for my boss, coworker and friend Nicola. I still haven't even bought her gift, so I have to run to WalMart where she is registered before I drive in today. Buying baby gifts is so much fun...it's a joyful announcement of new life. I love the little socks, the tiny blankets, the powdery smell. I am so happy for my friend and her new husband. Plus it's going to be hilarious watching her husband figure it all out!
Congratulations to Nicola, her husband Marlon, and her son Delvin. We can't wait to meet your sweet baby girl due in November!
