The Man Cub Turns Sixteen

On April 30, 1997, I gave birth to my first son.  He was 8lb 4oz of wiggly squirmy baby boy.  I didn't grow up with a dad, I didn't grow up with a brother, so he has been my first foray into the fun a little boy can be.  He has completely blessed my life in so many ways.

Even after a huge plate of seafood, the boy had room for dessert.

I love them.  I love them so much that when I see pictures of them, I tear up and think, "Oh my goodness.  I love them!"

NOT TWINS.  Do not ask her, she will punch you in the face.  NOT TWINS.

I love him, too.  Oh my.  All these tears over a trip to Red Lobster?

My birthday boy is the biggest goofball you'll ever meet.

And he ate this entire plate of food.  Then got dessert.  Then came home and asked me for a snack.

I had key lime pie with raspberry sauce.  Then I checked my blood sugar and wished I could put it back.  But my taste buds were immensely happy.

It's not Pepper's birthday, but she got Mr. Sock Monkey and she's a happy kitty.
