In case you were not aware, I happen to like birthdays. Quite a bit. |

What I'm wearing: really really old Target top, maybe 2004. Skirt, also Target, possibly 2008? And really old beat up leopard flip flops, which I'm sure I got from Target. Pink crystal earrings which I bought at some church sale, but my mom had to fix them for me because they were kind of wonky. I just came back from having dinner at Beef O'Brady's, where I had a delectable Southwest Chicken Salad (I did not eat the tortilla shell) and two glasses of ice water with lemon. When I see the pictures, I can really tell that I'm starting to lose weight. I'm down about 15 lbs. I have a lot to go, but I'm feeling awesome and healthy and I smile almost every morning when I take my blood sugar and it's nice and low. I'm also starting to like exercising more than I used to; I'm sure I'll never be an athlete, but it's nice walking up stairs and not wanting to die. |

So now that I'm done yammering on and on about how old I am, I have a new project that I will be starting, come June. It has come to my attention recently that I own over 30 dresses, so I've decided to do a 30 Dresses in June segment. (If you can come up with a better name, please leave a comment. My brain is fried.) I've noticed, and I'm sure many other people do this, that I wear the same dresses over and over, and neglect others. Before I can purchase any more items, I need to make sure that what I own is being utilized properly. So...starting June 1st, be prepared for daily dress posts from yours truly!

you look fab....
Ooh happy birthday! We have almost the same one actually. Mine is in a couple weeks - June 1st - and I'll be 33. Hope you had a great day! Do anything special?
Thank you, thank you friends! Well, I didn't really do anything special. I had to work, and I trained an employee on how to do surgery accounts. I went out to dinner with my kids, and did no housework. So I'd say it was a pretty good day. We're back to reality now; I have to work at least 10-12 hours today, plus help Bucket with an assignment for school, and make dinner. A real dinner. I am thinking of a modified goulas; ground beef and vegetables with cheese, no pasta (well, the kids can have pasta, I'm not eating it.) As of this morning, I am down another pound and just feeling kind of giddy over it.
Uhhh, that should say "ghoulash." That's a funny word. GHOULASH. Mwahahaha
LOL your funny LOL
