Ravishing in Red

"Ravishing."  That is such a great word.  And I loved...LOVED!!!...how I felt in this outfit.  I don't wear it very often because this Target dress is maternity.  And since I carry my weight in my abdomen, I don't like people asking me when I'm due.  But Mr. R finally cleaned out the closet and I was able to find my python belt.  Once I cinched that around my ribcage, I felt much better about wearing this dress.  Hooray for belts!

Red maternity Target dress, purchased in 2011 for $8.  I love clearance!  Python stretchy belt, came off my khaki Avenue dress.  Lane Bryant necklace and earring set.  And my Kmart leopard shoes, which managed to get cut off in this photo because 16 year old boys do not give ONE FLIP about their mama's outfits.

Those shoes didn't last long.  I was barefoot upstairs in kids ministry the entire time.  And I kicked my shoes off every time I stood up during the service.

This humidity is insane.  Poor Tiger had to keep cleaning the camera just to get decent shots before everything got fogged up again.

Do you see why I just don't even bother doing my hair.  I mean, this is crazy.

I picked red lipstick to go with my red dress.  It's an Avon product called "poppy."  It is very intense.  I wore only a bit of black eyeliner and mascara since the lips were front and center today.

Ugh! I'm going inside until November!

Thank you both, Cheriz and Allie! I need to find a better spot to take pics but this humidity is driving me crazy.
